Aim:

To build participant knowledge and skills in Working with children with ADHD.

Objectives:

  • What is ADHD and how does it present in children?
  • The impact of ADHD on the child and the family
  • Case study
  • Identifying core issues
  • Preparing the family to support the child
  • Supporting the child manage his/her symptoms
  • Support the child integrate into daily life

Training Method
Tutor input, Question and answer session, Group work Case Studies, Practice of skills
Course Materials
All participants will receive a course booklet containing all the key ideas and support material covered on the course.

1 Day, 10am - 230pm.
