Aim:
To build participant knowledge and skills in Working with children with special needs including ADHD, Autism and Conduct Disorder.
Objectives:
· To gain a basic insight into how children with special needs view, and are viewed by society.
· To develop an understanding of the limitations faced by children with special needs.
· To develop skills and strategies to help you deal with the day to day difficulties faced by children with special needs.
Training Method
Tutor input, Question and answer session, Group work Case Studies, Practice of skills.
Course Materials
All participants will receive a course booklet containing all the key ideas and support material covered on the course.
Course length
1 Day, 10am - 230pm.
