Aim:
To build participant knowledge and skills in dealing with Stress.
Objectives:

  • What is Stress?
  • The Effect of Stress on Physical Health and Well-being
  • Where does Stress Come from?
  • What are the Common Signs of Stress?
  • How Can we Manage Stress Better?
  • Become aware of your stressors, and your emotional and physical reactions to them
  • Recognise what you can change
  • Reduce your emotional reactions to stress
  • Learn to moderate your physical reactions to stress
  • Other Strategies for Managing Stress

Training Method
Tutor input, Question and answer session, Group work Case Studies, Practice of skills
Course Materials
All participants will receive a course booklet containing all the key ideas and support material covered on the course.
Course length

1 Day, 10am - 230pm.
