Working with Drug Affected Babies

Aim:
To build participant knowledge and skills regarding Drug effected Babies.
Objectives:
• Prevalence of alcohol and drug dependent parents including issues or gender, culture and class
• Impact of drugs on babies and children
• Signs and Symptoms of drug effected babies
• Caring for drug effected babies

Training Method
Tutor input, Question and answer session, Group work Case Studies, Practice of skills.
Course Materials
All participants will receive a course booklet containing all the key ideas and support material covered on the course.
Course length
1 Day, 10am - 230pm.
