  • exemptions and extensions
  • termination of foster carers
  • persons disqualified from fostering
  • foster panel;
    • Membership
    • Meetings
    • Purpose and Function
    • Conduct of Panel Business
    • Conflicts of Interest
    • Agency Decision Maker
    • Resignations and Termination of Approval of Foster Carers
  • Independent Review Mechanism (IRM)

Training Method
Tutor input, Question and answer session, Group work Case Studies, Practice of skills
Course Materials

· To understand what kind of evidence is required for the competency approach
· To understand the different parts of the assessment report
