Aim:
To build participant knowledge and skills in Health & Safety.

Objectives:

• Legislation
• The hazards and risks they may face
• The hazards or risks they can cause for other people
• How to identify relevant hazards and potential risks
• How to assess what to do to eliminate the hazard and control the risk
• How to take steps to control the risk to themselves and others
• Their safety and environmental responsibilities, and those of the people they work with
• Where to find any extra information they need to do their job safely
• How to follow a safe system of work.

Training Method
Tutor input, Question and answer session, Group work Case Studies, Practice of skills
Course Materials
All participants will receive a course booklet containing all the key ideas and support material covered on the course.

Course length

1 Day, 10am - 230pm.
