Aim:

awareness and identify effective practice when working with Planning for Permanence.
Objectives:
•To understand the roles and responsibilities of a social worker and the needs of the child in relation to planning for permanence – thus enabling you
to bring this into play when undertaking the fostering services role
•To recognise the significance of stability, belonging and permanence planning
•To know government policy and legislation on this topic
•List all the permanent placements and associated outcomes for each
