To build participant knowledge and skills regarding caring for young people who run away.
Objectives:

• Why do young people run away?
• What do the terms "run away" and "missing" mean?
• What to do if a young person runs away
• Strategies for working with young people who run away

Training Method
Tutor input, Question and answer session, Group work Case Studies, Practice of skills
Course Materials
All participants will receive a course booklet containing all the key ideas and support material covered on the course.
