Supporting Young People to raise their Self-Esteem

Aim:
To build participant knowledge and skills working with and supporting children and young people to raise their self-esteem.
Objectives:

• How to develop better relationships
• Carer's position and its influence
• Behaviour and what people are trying to communicate
• The main issues young people have to deal with
• The definition of self-esteem
• Thoughts and how they affect self-esteem
• Effective tools to raise self-esteem
• Fear and its effect on self-esteem

Training Method
Tutor input, Question and answer session, Group work Case Studies, Practice of skills
Course Materials
All participants will receive a course booklet containing all the key ideas and support material covered on the course.

1 Day, 10am - 230pm.
