Aim:
To build participant knowledge and skills in Dealing with Traumatic Stress.
Objectives:
- To recognise the impact of traumatic stress on child development
- To understand what people need to recover from trauma
- To understand the impact of living and working with traumatised children
- To think about how to prevent and treat secondary stress disorders
Training Method
Tutor input, Question and answer session, Group work Case Studies, Practice of skills
Course Materials
All participants will receive a course booklet containing all the key ideas and support material covered on the course.
Course length
1 Day, 10am - 230pm.
